The Final Stretch of my Phil. Studies at these Colleges
...Shall be dedicated (willingly or otherwise) to these two Beings. In the recent past I would have welcomed the task, though now I feel somewhat oppressed by the obligation. Perhaps if I were to understand their philosophy the way they realized it (by conversing over drinks in bars and cafes, meeting with political radicals, etc.) the task would seem more appealing. Pointless trivia: Sartre commented after this meeting that Che is one of the finest human beings he had the opportunity to meet with.

Proclamation vs. (a few States in) America
After their failure to make it into the U.S. last year, Proclamation will return to perform in California, Texas, and Chicago. Though their time here will be brief, the opportunity to witness Proclamation in a live setting is uncommon and welcome, especially since the band they emulate, Blasphemy, are currently unwelcome in the U.S. because of some criminal records associated with the band's members.
